The Werth Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Housatonic Community College (HCC) competed its first semester after its launch this past year.

The Werth Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Housatonic Community College (HCC) competed its first semester after its launch this past year. It is the only entrepreneurship center of its kind at a Connecticut community college.

Peter Werth, pictured 2nd on left, invested $1 million to launch this resource at HCC with the goal of bringing exceptional resources to this region so that students can start and grow their own businesses as a way to gain financial security. Peter is joined by HCC students, staff and faculty in this photo.

The Housatonic Community College Foundation

The HCC Foundation expands access to quality, affordable higher education and works closely with the college to enhance the learning experience and workforce development education and training of students.  As a 501 (c)3 tax exempt organization, its mission is to solicit, secure and manage contributions from the private sector through philanthropic individuals, corporations and foundations for the benefit of Housatonic Community College.
