On November 28th, Giving Day is taking over Housatonic! Here are all the ways you can be involved!

Month of Gratitude Challenges: We are taking over Housatonic all November long with our Month of Gratitude. Each week is a new challenge to spread awareness and get a chance to win Gift cards!

  • Think Smarter Week (11/6-11/10): Find and answer all 10 Giving Day trivia questions displayed around campus on large poster boards correctly and get a chance to win a $50 gift card
  • Thank Louder Week (11/13-11/17): Write a handwritten thank you note to our donors at our stations in Beacon and Lafayette Halls to get entered to win a $50 Gift Card
  • Love Stronger Week (11/20-11/24): Post on either Instagram or Facebook why you are grateful to work at Housatonic and tag it with #HousatonicGives23 to get entered to win a $50 Gift Card
  • Give Further Week: Make a gift on Giving Day (11/28) and get entered to win one of 10 Gift Cards!

Battle of the Departments: Our Faculty and Staff have been divided into four teams and have been challenged to get the most participation on Giving Day!

  • If a Team achieves 75 donors on Giving Day (donors include yourself, friends family, neighbors, etc), they will unlock a Dessert and Wine Social for their team members!
  • The Team that reaches the highest percentage of participation from Housatonic staff and faculty, will unlock $1,000 to be added to their total!

Save or Pie: One member from each team has volunteered to take a whipped cream pie to the face if their department places in the last two places for participation in the Battle of Departments. Make sure to support your department to save your professors from the Pie!
